Resale Shops

Instead of throwing away a useful item, check out the resale shops in McLean County where you can donate, sell, or pick up something for yourself. Bloomington-Normal also has a great garage sale scene during the warm months. See the garage sale listings in the Pantagraph.

What to know before visiting your local resale shops:

  • Buyback stores usually pay immediate cash for acceptable items.
  • Consignment shops give you a portion of the proceeds once the item has sold.
  • Be sure to adhere to each business’s procedures for dropping off items (some stores only accept certain items, and many collect items by appointment only). When in doubt, call the store.
