Children’s Library Recycling Program
December 12, 2022 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
How often do your kids throw items into the trash without ever thinking twice about it? This program will teach our youngest community members (ages 6-10 years old) about the problems associated with generating too much waste, and how easily they can be a part of the solution by sticking to the 3 R’s: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle, plus we might even talk about composting!
Children will learn about these concepts through a fun sorting activity and leave with the knowledge of what is recyclable in our community. The program lasts 45 to 60 minutes and is located in the Community Room at the Normal Public Library. This class is appropriate for ages 6-10 years of age and parents are welcome (but not required) to join us for this class.
