El Paso District Library Waste Reduction Presentation
May 4 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Trash is piling up! It is filling our landfills and we see it littered on our local green spaces and in our waterways. Most folks have heard of reduce, reuse, and recycle but we want to go more in-depth. The Waste Reduction Presentation on Thursday, May 4th from 6:00-7:00pm can help you learn how to reduce waste in your own home by learning about what is recyclable in our area. Plus, you will even learn more about composting which is a great way to divert food waste from our landfills and keep your garbage cans smelling nicer! This event is co-hosted by the Ecology Action Center and El Paso District Library and will be held at El Paso District library on 149 West 1st Street, in El Paso, IL. Attendees will leave with knowledge of what is recyclable in McLean, Livingston, and Woodford county, learn how to start and improve their composting efforts, and have all their questions answered! Registration can be done by visiting or calling El Paso District Library at (309) 527-4360 or online by the button below:
