GREEN TOPics: Vermicomposting

Love cooking and are looking for a way to compost your used food scraps? Try Vermicomposting or composting with worms! Vermicomposting is a great way to reduce your carbon footprint and stop food waste in your home. No backyard or large area required, so this is perfect for apartments, dorms, rental units, etc. For the first installment of GREEN TOPics attendees will learn about the benefits of vermicomposting, how to start, how to harvest castings, how to troubleshoot common problems, and more!
This event is co-hosted by the Ecology Action Center and Green Top Grocery and will be held at Green Top Grocery on 921 East Washington Street in Bloomington, IL on Wednesday February 1st from 5:30-6:30pm as part of the GREEN TOPics series. Registration is required and can be found below.
