JWP Audubon Bird Walk 5/27

May 27, 2023 @ 8:00 am - 10:30 am

Free
a yellow breasted chat on a tree

Catch the tail end of spring migration at the Merwin Preserve with Dr. Pirmin Nietlisbach, who may also treat participants to a peek into some bird boxes. (Remember to park at the NORTH GATE!) Dr. Nietlisbach conducts bird research at Merwin, so he’s got a lot of bird information to share. Merwin has a bit of terrain, so wear your hiking shoes! All JWP bird walks are appropriate for all ages and all skill levels. (Seriously, there is no pressure to know anything about birds! We can give you some tips, or you can just walk along with us and appreciate us appreciating the birds.) We even have 3 pairs of loaner binoculars! If you have questions about accessibility, please email us at [email protected].
