DESCRIPTION:Join us for our final virtual presentation on the Grow Solar Bloomington-Normal Program\, a group buy program for solar for homeowners in McLean and DeWitt Counties. You’ll find out how the program works\, how solar can benefit you\, and what discounts and incentives you can get for your home! We are approaching the end of the program\, but there’s still plenty of time to secure discounts on rooftop solar\, saving you money on increasing energy bills. \nPlease note\, due to our installer’s capacity restraints\, all remaining projects for this program will not be eligible for the 30% federal tax credit\, which expires at the end of the year. Even with this incentive gone\, going solar is still a smart investment for the long term. With energy rates forecast to continue increasing\, rooftop solar is a proven savings method that will help offset future rate hikes.
