Join the Ecology Action Center Tree Corps to help us plant and care for new trees in McLean County. You can use the online form to the right to make a generous donation to plant a tree along a newer section of Constitution Trail (or send in your gift using the downloadable form below). For each tree donated, the Friends of the Constitution Trail will match your donation to plant a second tree on the trail.
This project is the first of many efforts to plant many thousands of new trees in multiple sites around McLean County.
Planting trees will give us great opportunities to
- Add never-ending beauty to Central Illinois
- Enjoy working with friends for community benefit
- Improve local air quality and reduce carbon dioxide
- Increase native species, helping to preserve biodiversity
The trees for Trail Trees are larger sized, 2″ diameter trees, so their cost is more. If you are unable to contribute a whole tree, please consider making an appropriate donation within your means. The Ecology Action Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization; all contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law.
