Winter Bird Walk

March 4 @ 8:30 am - 10:00 am

Free

Join Dr. Pirmin Nietlisbach for a winter bird walk at the Merwin Preserve! Merwin is beautiful in the winter and home to several red-headed woodpeckers, in addition to many other winter residents. As always, we will bring a few spare sets of binoculars for those without.
JWP Audubon walks are appropriate for all ages and all “birding abilities.” If you are a beginner, don’t worry! It’s not a competition. We are just hanging out with the birds. Merwin has uneven terrain and some hills, so keep that in mind when you put on your shoes or boots.
We will meet on the north side of the preserve, where you will find a small gravel parking lot on Clarksville Road.
