The Green Screen – Biophilic Design
February 20 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Illinois State University’s Center for Math, Science and Technology (CeMaST) and the Office of Sustainability invite campus and community members to the spring 2024 edition of The Green Screen: A Climate Change Film Series. Each month films feature a different topic with a focus on the global climate change crisis.
Films will be screened at 7 p.m. at the Normal Theater throughout the spring 2024 semester. All screenings are free and open to the community. Faculty and student groups are particularly encouraged to highlight these free and local opportunities for students to learn more about these sustainability topics.
Biophilic Design is a documentary about the innovative way of designing the places where we live, work, and learn. We need nature, but we have often designed cities and suburbs in ways that both degrade the environment and alienate us from nature. Come on a journey from our evolutionary past and the origins of architecture to the world’s most celebrated buildings in a search for the architecture of life.
