Volunteer for Tree Planting Workdays

It’s happening you guys!! Tree Corps 2025 has officially begun!

The Tree Corps initiative is completely dependent upon volunteers to be successful.  Volunteers help with planting workdays, pre-planting site preparations, watering of trees and other maintenance, and other evolving needs.  Workdays will continue to be posted below and on the EAC’s BN Green Events Calendar with date-specific workday volunteer sign up forms. two people posing with dibble bars, trees, and marking flags

Current Volunteer Needs

Volunteers must be 18 years old or older or alternately 14 years or older and accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.  All of our IDOT workdays will be 18 and older this year because of added safety concerns at those sites. Tools and heavy equipment will be in use and all volunteers must be able to safely use hand tools, stay on their feet for 3 hours at a time and lift a moderate weight (~15 pounds).
