Volunteer for Tree Corps Workdays

Sign up now for a Tree Potting volunteer workday shift to help us dig up and pot trees at our nursery in West Bloomington!

The 2026 tree planting season will be here before you know it, so stay tuned for tree prep and tree planting volunteer workday shifts!

The Tree Corps initiative is completely dependent upon volunteers to be successful.  Volunteers help with planting workdays, pre-planting site preparations, watering of trees and other maintenance, and other evolving needs.  Workdays will continue to be posted below and on the EAC’s BN Green Events Calendar with date-specific workday volunteer sign up forms. volunteers digging up a tree with hand tools

Current Volunteer Needs

Volunteers must be 18 years old or older or alternately 14 years or older and accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Tools and heavy equipment will be in use and all volunteers must be able to safely use hand tools, stay on their feet for 3 hours at a time and lift a moderate weight (~15 pounds).
