Grand Prairie Bird Alliance Fall Bird Outing, Sept. 26

The birds are heading south!

Fortunately for us, many of these fall migrants will stop in our area to rest and refuel. If you’d like to see some of these beautiful birds, join Grand Prairie Bird Alliance for a bird walk at 8 a.m. Saturday, September 26, at the Parklands Foundation Moon Preserve, north side of Carver Road (2450 N Rd) just east of Camp Peairs Road, at Lake Bloomington.

The walk will be led by local experts and is appropriate for all ages and all skill levels. (Seriously, there is no pressure to know anything about birds. We can give you some tips, or you can just walk along with us and appreciate us appreciating the birds.) We even have nine pairs of loaner binoculars.
