Zero Waste
In order to reduce the environmental footprint of this event, we will be repeating the successful zero waste strategies utilized for the past couple of years. This means that we will strive to generate no waste that cannot be recycled, reused, or composted. We are asking that exhibitors and presenters bring no materials for distribution or anything utilizing any packaging that are not 100% recyclable (meaning recyclable through local recycling programs) or 100% compostable.

At the 2012-2014 ISLWE events with approximately 4000 attendees we landfilled only about 20 pounds of waste. Please help us repeat this again this year. For more information on this, please contact Michael Brown at the Ecology Action Center.
